To access a fresh BMU, set your computer to 192.168.1.2<\/b> with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0<\/b>. Connect your computer to the port labeled 0<\/b> (eth0<\/b>) on the BMU and access 192.168.1.1<\/b> in a web browser. The default username is admin<\/b> and the default password is admin123<\/b>.<\/p>\n

If you cannot access the BMU for any reason, the only way to factory default it is via the provided console cable. Connect the console cable to the Console<\/b> port and connect the DB9 end to your computer. You may need a USB to serial adapter if your computer does not have a serial interface. Connect at 115200<\/b> baud rate, Data bits 8<\/b>, Stop bits 1<\/b>, no parity and no flow control<\/b>. You will be presented with a menu which iwll have the option to perform a factory default. This will reset the BMU to the default IP, username and password.<\/p>\n
