The Calix SMx Integration will allow Powercode users to track, manage, and provision calix ONTs. This guide will show you how to properly add a Calix BMU,<\/strong> ONT<\/strong>, Device Type<\/strong>, Calix enabled service<\/strong>, and provision a customer<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating the BMU<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Add Calix BMU with a username and password of a user that has access to the Calix API.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Creating an ONT Device Type<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Enter the exact ONT model as the name of the device type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select the category ONT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Choose the Calix monitoring tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select SNMP Version 2c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      • Ensure the target customer has a Calix enabled service already on the account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Add Equipment with type ONT.\n
