Equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To see available ports on switch, create a new one equipment and select \u201cDevice Category<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 Switch with \u201cDevice Type<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 NetConf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same page in the \u201cEquipment Specifics\u201d section specify the SSH connection credentials. The default port used for NetConf is 830<\/strong>. The same credentials and port 22<\/strong> are used to execute cli<\/strong> commands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter other required information such as IP and save the equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port Viewer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A new tab will appear on the Overview Equipment page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The page displays the device Model<\/strong> and Serial Number<\/strong>, and you can also specify Rack<\/strong> and Tray<\/strong>. All ports are available for viewing, indicating the number and interfaces that the port supports. The port status is displayed in one of the possible colors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Green<\/strong> – The port is connected and working correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Red<\/strong> \u2013 The port is connected but status is Down.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Gray \u2013<\/strong> Port is free \u2013 disconnected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Click the pencil to edit the shelf or tray and click the Save button to save your changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Port information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Select the port you want to get information about and click on it. The disconnected port displays available interfaces and channels for connection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    while the connected port displays interface information and statistics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Alert Notification<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    An “Alert Notification” section is available under the ports to add users who will receive notifications about the issue on port(s). Select a user from the list and add them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Selected users will receive email notifications. The email body can be configured in the section \u201cSystem Emails\u201d.The event trigger is called \u201cInternal – Equipment Port Down<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
