Powercode Link installation is currently performed by Powercode Support. Do not install or update Link yourself unless Powercode Support specifically instructs you to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To schedule an installation, contact support@powercode.com<\/strong> and be ready to provide SSH access to the target server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before contacting support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prepare a server that meets these minimum system requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare the access details Powercode Support will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • SSH credentials for an account with sudo<\/code> or root access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The server hostname or IP address and SSH port.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Any required VPN, bastion host, firewall allowlist, or maintenance-window details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Internet access from the server to pull container images from the Powercode registry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Network access for any DHCP, SNMP, ICMP, or management networks this Link host will serve or inspect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    If you plan to use a trusted browser certificate, also prepare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • A DNS name that points to the Link host.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ports 80 and 443 reachable from the certificate authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • An administrative email address for Let’s Encrypt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      What to send<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Email support@powercode.com<\/strong> to request installation. Include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Your company name and primary contact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. The Link server hostname or IP address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. SSH access details, or instructions for securely sharing SSH credentials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Any VPN, bastion host, firewall allowlist, or access-window requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. The DNS name you want to use for the Link web interface, if available.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        What Powercode Support will do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Powercode Support will install and configure Link on the target server, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. Checking the operating system and required commands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Generating local secrets and runtime environment files.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Creating required runtime directories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Logging in to the configured container registry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Pulling the configured container images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Starting the Link services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Providing the browser URL and initial sign-in instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          After installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          After Powercode Support completes the installation, open the Link URL they provide in a browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          If the server is using a self-signed TLS certificate, your browser may show a certificate warning until a trusted certificate is configured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Powercode Link updates are also coordinated through Powercode Support at this time. Contact support@powercode.com<\/strong> when you need an update or if Support notifies you that a new release is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Installation help<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
