The Dashboard<\/strong> page is the main Link operations view. It shows DHCP health, live lease and activity trends, and searchable DHCP logs for IPv4 and IPv6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open the Dashboard page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sign in to Powercode Link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Dashboard<\/strong> in the page selector at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Read the status header<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The header shows the current Link health state and the last refresh time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • OK<\/strong> means Link can reach the DHCP observability services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Degraded<\/strong> means one side or dependency may be unavailable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Disconnected<\/strong> or an error message means Link could not refresh observability data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The v4<\/strong> and v6<\/strong> indicators show whether DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 are reporting as up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Dashboard metrics refresh automatically about every 5 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Read the summary metrics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The status strip shows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • V4 leases<\/strong>: current active DHCPv4 leases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • V6 leases<\/strong>: current active DHCPv6 leases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Requests\/s<\/strong>: observed DHCP request rate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • ACKs\/s<\/strong>: observed successful response rate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • NAKs\/s<\/strong>: observed rejected\/negative response rate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        A dash (\u2014<\/code>) means the value has not loaded yet or is unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Use the charts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The Dashboard includes two live sample charts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Lease Trends<\/strong>: IPv4 and IPv6 lease counts over the recent samples held by the browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • DHCP Activity<\/strong>: request, ACK, and NAK rates over recent samples.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          The charts need at least two successful metric refreshes before lines appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Search DHCP logs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          The DHCP Logs<\/strong> section shows DHCP activity from dhcp4<\/code> and dhcp6<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Common filters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Contains<\/strong>: search raw log text for an IP, MAC, client identifier, hostname, or message fragment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Log Level<\/strong>: include or exclude INFO<\/code>, WARN<\/code>, ERROR<\/code>, DEBUG<\/code>, and FATAL<\/code> messages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Service<\/strong>: choose dhcp4<\/code>, dhcp6<\/code>, or both.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Time Range<\/strong>: choose the recent time window to search.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Transactions\/Lines Per Service<\/strong>: control how many results are requested from each DHCP service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Auto-Refresh<\/strong>: pause or change the refresh interval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Hide monitoring commands<\/strong>: keep routine monitoring commands out of the display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Choose a log view<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            The logs have three views:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              \n
            • Grouped<\/strong>: groups related DHCP packets into transactions. Use this for most troubleshooting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • dhcpd<\/strong>: presents events in a compact ISC dhcpd-style time\/message format.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Packet detail<\/strong>: shows raw packet-level log rows and extracted best-effort IP\/MAC values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              In Grouped<\/strong> or Packet detail<\/strong> view, select a row to expand details and see raw lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              When to use this page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

              Use the Dashboard to answer questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                \n
              • Are DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 both up?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Are clients receiving leases?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Is DHCP traffic increasing, failing, or being rejected?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • What happened for a specific MAC address, client ID, or IP address?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                • If the page says you are not authorized, ask for gateway:observability:read<\/code> access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • If logs are empty, widen the time range, increase the result limit, or clear the text filter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
