It can show related DHCP log lines and delete stale leases when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Open the Hosts page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to Powercode Link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Hosts<\/strong> in the page selector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You need observability access to search hosts. Deleting leases requires configuration\/write access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Search for a host<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosts are loaded only after you submit a search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Enter a search value in the search box. You can search by:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>IP address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAC address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>client ID or DUID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>hostname<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>subnet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reservation identifier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Select <strong>Search<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The page shows counts for matching <strong>Reservations<\/strong> and <strong>Leases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use <strong>Refresh results<\/strong> to rerun the current search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Review reservations and leases<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Search results are split into two tables:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reservations<\/strong>: configured host reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leases<\/strong>: current DHCP leases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each row shows the server, address, subnet, identifier, hostname, status, and available actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select a row to open details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Read host details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The details panel shows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>DHCP server (<code>v4<\/code> or <code>v6<\/code>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address or addresses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Subnet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifier and identifier type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decoded flex-id when available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hostname.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lease type\/state and expiration for leases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related DHCP log lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raw DHCP server object.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Related logs are searched by address, MAC\/client identifier, and hostname against the matching DHCP log.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Delete a lease<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If a stale or incorrect lease must be removed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Search for the host.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the lease in the <strong>Leases<\/strong> table.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Delete<\/strong> on the row, or select the row and then select <strong>Delete lease<\/strong> in the details panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm the browser prompt.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p><strong>Caution:<\/strong> Deleting a lease removes it from the DHCP server. The client may request a lease again. Do this only when you intend to clear the current lease state.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Reservations cannot be deleted from this page; reservation rows show <strong>Logs only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If no results appear, try a shorter search term, confirm the server (<code>v4<\/code>\/<code>v6<\/code>), or verify the host currently has a reservation or lease.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If related logs are empty, the log tail window may not include the event anymore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If delete fails, confirm you have the required access and that the DHCP server is reachable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hosts page searches DHCP reservations and active leases.
